Know Before You Ride
A few simple guidelines help keep your experience smooth, safe, and unforgettable.
Requirements
- Punctual departures. Please arrive 15 minutes early at the meeting point for parking, safety protocol, and orientation.
- If you have any medical conditions, ask your doctor for authorization if needed and mention it when booking. Please bring any necessary medications with you.
- Height and weight limits: Minimum height 4’6” (54”) and maximum height 6’5” (77”). Maximum recommended weight: 220 lbs.
- What to bring: Only the essentials, since space is limited. Water shoes or tennis shoes that can get wet are required for boarding. You may go barefoot when disembarking.
- Recommended: hat, swimsuit, sun protection, shirt, shorts or tights, and sunglasses if you have them.
- It is not allowed to hit the unit against any object, jump off the unit, or damage it. If damage is caused through negligence, the person who made the reservation is responsible.
- No smoking and no alcoholic beverages.
- We reserve the right of admission.
- The person making the reservation is responsible for informing all companions about arrival time, requirements, and all excursion details.
- Tips are humbly accepted by your route guides and shared among the team.
Cancellation Policy
- If we must cancel a tour due to weather or sea conditions, we will offer options based on availability, including rescheduling, another tour, or a 100% refund. Weather-related cancellations are determined at the meeting point.
- If we cancel due to weather, we will notify you. Because Caribbean weather can change quickly, cancellations may happen the same day, even at the meeting point.
- You have 48 hours before departure to change your reservation, cancel, or request a refund.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure, late arrivals, and no-shows are charged in full.
- All cancellations must be made and confirmed directly with Waterbikes Curacao by phone or WhatsApp at +599 95209092.
- Please arrive on time. Boarding preparations begin 15 minutes before departure, and your reservation will be canceled and charged in full if you do not arrive at the scheduled departure time.
- Please note that Waterbikes Curacao is a small local business with limited spaces reserved just for you.
Tour / Hire Terms
- Tour / Hire of our Waterbikes and all associated equipment are subject to these terms and conditions.
- You agree to pay the total hire cost for the period of hire set out. If you extend your hire, you agree to pay the applicable cost on return.
- You may return early, but no discounts will apply. You hire our equipment at your own risk.
- You release the owners and operators of Waterbikes Curacao from all actions or demands due to any loss, damage, injury, or death occurring as a result of or in association with your hire.
- The owners and operators of Waterbikes Curacao are not responsible and have no liability for any injury or death to any person or any loss or damage to your property arising out of or associated with your hire.
- You agree to indemnify the owners and operators of Waterbikes Curacao against all actions or demands due to the use of hired equipment.
- You agree not to re-lend or re-hire any equipment without permission from Waterbikes Curacao.
- You understand that the host may conduct event photography. Unless otherwise noted, you grant the host permission to use images containing your likeness in marketing and promotional materials.
